Becerra Residence

The Becerra residence designed ca. 1924 was a modest version of the Schuck residence in Hato Rey, now demolished.  It stands out with a composition of its own with an arched entrance flanked by planters.  There is only one side porch due to the narrowness of the lot which makes the property look incomplete because of its lack of symmetry.  However, the usual traits of the Nechodoma designs of this late stage in his career are there; the octagonal columns and use of mosaic glass details.
