Buena Unión
San Germán

 
Hacienda Buena Union was established in 1870 and operated until 1910, it was located in the Sector Panchita of the Barrio Guamá of San Germán.  It is also known as Trapiche del Guamá because of its location or Hacienda Acosta, the last name of its owners. 
 
According to José Ferreras Pagán 1902 book Biografia de las Riquezas de Puerto Rico, Buena Unión was established by Gregorio Acosta Beizama in 1870.  After his death In 1880 it passed on to Sucn. Acosta formed by his widow Eulogia Nazario Nazario (1806-1903) and their two children Concepción (1837-1912) and Pedro Acosta Nazario (1846-1909).  Pedro Acosta Nazario was married to Maria Monserrate Forés Morazo and Concepción to Ramón Porrata Acosta son of the owners of Hacienda Jovita.  Its last known owner is often reported as Sucn. Acosta which refers to the estate of Pedro Acosta Nazario.
 
It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.
